At the Comic-Con in San Diego, Chevrolet presented the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro TRANSFORMERS Special Edition. The 2010 Camaro TRANSFORMERS Special Edition’s V6 engine consumes an EPA-rated 29 highway mpg. The Camaro also features Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB connectivity, XM Satellite Radio and OnStar coupled with TRANSFORMERS design cues.

As for the Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission-equipped SS model, L99 V8 engine is used which is based on the LS3 but comes with GM’s fuel-saving Active Fuel Management. This model produces SAE-certified 400 hp (298 kW) and 556 Nm (410 lb-ft) of maximum torque.

Chevrolet Camaro Transformers Super Speed Pictures

As if the 2010 Camaro wasn’t doing well enough on its own, it appears that its sequel appearance in the new Transformers movie, Revenge of the Fallen, has helped spike the Camaro traffic yet again. Transformer released into theaters on June 23rd, and has already set a record at the box office making over 200 million dollars in just the first week in release. It is on pace to set and break a few more records along the way.

The movie was a blast, packed with action and full of the 2010 Chevrolet Bumblebee Camaro that everyone anticipated roaring across the big screen. On top of the Bumble Camaro, we also saw a few other GM brand Autobots including a prototype Corvette and some hybrid prototypes. The hybrid Autobots were especially funny when in Autobot form. They played the parts of 2 uneducated, clueless, clumsy, ghetto Transformers. It was great entertainment.
